Reading is something I do to unwind. Writing is something I do for fun.
Not quite the same thing, right?
Fortunately, it rarely comes down to making a Hobson’s Choice. I have to schedule writing time, around work. And (most days) I don’t get much of it done. The blog gets fifteen or twenty minutes of attention, for the daily post, but that’s just “eating breakfast and watching the news” time.
I’d love to have a regular schedule to write. But since the work schedule is so irregular…
So, it’s not a decision “read or write?” that needs to be made.
Which is good, because Crazy Dave is bad, mmmkay?
If you had to choose between being able to write a blog (but not read others’) and being able to read others’ blogs (but not write your own), which would you pick? Why?
