Nightfall

I am a subtle and silent harbinger of Death. You wouldn’t suspect it, meeting me. A meek and academic little man in a standard issue lab coat, shuffling down the hospital corridors completely unnoticed. Hand delivering oncology lab reports that extinguish lives.

      1. It’s a great story, but it doesn’t quite answer the ultimate question. That happens sometimes. 🙂 I’m guilty of this too, and one of our editors pulled her own entry this week after realizing it didn’t answer. The microstory challenge is – IMO – the trickiest one we run.
