It’s time

social media detox-01A couple of years ago, around the 2016 election, I dumped Facebook because of its rising toxicity level.

It’s long past time to lose Twitter, too.

I think I’ve become addicted to bad news. I can already feel the twitchy urge to just check what’s happening “real quick” first thing in the morning.

And I’m trying to remember what life was like before Trump.

Maybe I can produce more art, or take a fresh stab at writing. Who knows? Half a dozen other hobbies have been languishing in that time I’ve wasted every day reading feeds and shouting into the internet wind.

  1. Good to see you back, Dave … May be different issues, but the same person is in the White House, so nothing has changed.

Leave a comment. No, really. The Old One even comments back, often as he can.
